Purchasing a home is one of the most important and expensive decisions you will ever make! Now is not the time to skimp on the cost of hiring a home inspector. For just a fraction of the cost of your new-home-investment you can have the knowledge you need to help ensure your investment lives up to your expectations.
The larger the home the more time, effort, and skill are required to perform the home inspection.
Older homes always have more issues and thus take longer to inspect.
Crawl spaces take longer and require more knowledge to inspect. The inspector has to suit-up, drag his equipment, and dodge snakes!
Additional detached structures (e.g. workshop) and/or hazardous items (e.g. radon) will require more time and information to inspect.
A professional home inspection from Devine Home Inspections, LLC is the most thorough home inspection available in the Pine Belt, however our inspection fees are among the lowest in the industry, starting at $285.00.
It's true ... you get what you pay for!
Please note: A home inspection is only as good as your inspector's training and work ethic! I check items (e.g. electrical dead fronts, etc.) that some inspectors no longer inspect. In addition, my inspections on average take twice as long as some area inspectors! The average home inspection duration nationally is three to four hours; in the Pine Belt, it is less than two! Plus, I remain after the inspection to review my findings with the home buyer and answer questions.
